Senior Executive, SingHealth Residency (2-year Contract)

Join SingHealth's Graduate Medical Education Office and play a vital role in developing the next generation of medical professionals across Singapore's largest public healthcare cluster.  You will support the SingHealth Residency programme and in ensuring the effective implementation of the national training framework.

 

We are seeking a Senior Executive to support the smooth operations of the Residency Programme. You will work closely with Programme Directors, faculty, and residents to maintain compliance with training standards whilst supporting the day-to-day educational and administrative activities that make our programmes successful.

 

Successful candidates will be assigned to support one of these specialties:

  • Medicine
  • Diagnostic Radiology
  • Family Medicine

 

What You Will Do:

You will ensure successful accreditation of the Residency Programme by maintaining proper documentation and ensuring compliance with the prevailing medical residency accreditation standards. You will be involved in the day-to-day management of educational and departmental activities, providing administrative support to the Programme Director, ensuring that there is a sufficient number of trained faculty, as well as ensuring a good learning experience and welfare of the Residents. You are also required to work closely with other Programme Coordinators, department administrative staff/secretaries, faculty and staff from the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office, and to support the GME Office in major activities and events.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or equivalent
  • Experience in working within a healthcare or training environment would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisational abilities, with attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Resourceful and able to work independently
  • Able to collaborate effectively with internal and external departments and agencies
