As part of the Academic Medicine Innovation Institute (AMII) secretariat team, you will coordinate activities related to AMII. Working under the supervision of the Manager, you will engage with the Innovation Council and coordinate with Priority Area Leads to drive healthcare innovation efforts across the Academic Medical Centre, facilitating partnerships between internal and external stakeholders.  

 

You will assist in planning and organising AMII meetings and events, including AMII EXCO meetings, Innovation Council meetings, Priority Areas meetings, and the annual Innovation Retreat and Workshop. As the secretariat for these engagements, you will be responsible for minute-taking and any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the AMII Co-chairs.

 

To monitor the progress of AMII projects and initiatives, you will track and collate key outcomes and data from the various institutions and domains.

 

You will be responsible for keeping an up-to-date record of AMII’s innovation resources, including assets, capabilities, programmes and partnerships and ensure that the information is up to date. Additionally, you will support proposed innovation ideation, project development and/or adoption grants administered by the Office for Innovation and AMII.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 1 to 4 years of working experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in and familiarity with local healthcare system would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as Design Thinking and Agile, as well as project management tools, is highly desirable
  • Professional team player with strong planning capabilities
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
  • Possess critical thinking skills and willingness to think outside the box
  • Adept at handling complex, ambiguous and challenging situations; comfortable with changes within a fluid environment and a growing organisation
  • Good persuasive writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship management skills to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and with limited supervision
  • Action-oriented, highly motivated, proactive, and target-focused
