Senior Executive (HTP), Office for Innovation (Contract)

You will support the Division for Innovation and Transformation (DoIT), and work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and implement projects to bring about seamless patient experience and impactful healthcare innovations. 

 

You will support the functions of the Healthcare Translation Partnership (HTP) programme Joint Partnership Office, and your job responsibilities include:

 

  1. Schedule, prepare and disseminate the publicity emails and materials for the launch of the HTP programme grant calls. 
  2. Adhere to and execute the grant evaluation processes to ensure fairness in the award of the funding to the worthy HTP projects.
  3. Ensure timely awarding of funding and completion of the grant call. 
  4. Post-award monitoring of the HTP funded projects to track their fulfilment of the milestones and deliverables, including project management, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate progress and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved at working level to the Leads of the HTP programme.
  5. Track and monitor fund utilisation, and ensure claims and reimbursement are processed in a timely manner. 
  6. Prepare status updates to HTP Leads and management, and submit grant progress report in a timely manner.
  7. Support the organisation on joint matchmaking workshops, learnings, and visits to increase engagements between SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC) entities and A*STAR Research Institutes.
  8. Support the formulation and implementation of the various innovation programmes and initiatives under AMII Priority Areas such as culture building and developing, human capital co-development and test bedding, adoption and scaling, as well as emerging technologies and data.
  9. Support the department in the execution of strategic plans and business process innovation as well as communication of projects to stakeholders.
  10. Provide secretariat support during innovation strategy related workgroup meetings, senior management and any other assigned meetings to drive the implementation of projects.
  11. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head of Department (HOD) and/or supervisor.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in project facilitation, process improvement, or business transformation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in Project Management is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in healthcare and/or grant administration would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in horizon scanning, behavioral insights, benchmarking and data research, statistical tools and techniques would be an added advantage.
  • Possess critical thinking skills and willing to think out of the box. 
  • Adept at handling complex, ambiguous and challenging situations and comfortable with change in a fluid environment and a growing organisation. 
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with limited supervision. 
  • An action-oriented, highly motivated and target-focused team player.
