Senior Executive (Innovation Project Manager), Office for Innovation

You will assist and support the acceleration of healthcare transformation by nurturing the innovation culture through designing and strengthening supportive frameworks for healthcare professionals across all domains. You will support the seeding of potential for discovery and innovation through seed funding and pilot grants for healthcare professionals across SingHealth.

 

You will fuel more ground-up local innovation, inspire ideation and facilitate new solutions to enable innovation to be brought towards actual translation and benefits. You will support the pre-call publicity and administration of grant calls, including the evaluation of projects and monitoring of the projects and fund utilisation to ensure timely reporting of the achievement of project milestones, deliverables and KPIs in accordance to the gift intent. 

 

You will uncover new healthcare synergies by supporting the facilitation process and enabling teams to collaborate with external agencies to participate in joint innovation programmes, research and education initiatives to leverage complementary capabilities outside the healthcare sector and ensure that innovation decisions are translated to strategies and action plans for implementation. This will include supporting the navigation of these projects for resource-matching, collaborators (commercials and Institution of Higher Learnings/Research Institutes), grants etc. 

 

Job Requirements 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 4 years of relevant experience in a clinical background setting or with experience in clinical research projects and project management in the areas of process improvement, design thinking or innovation projects 
  • Knowledge and experience in clinical research projects, with the ability to ensure scientific integrity, submit scientific publications and file intellectual property 
  • Knowledge and skills in project management, process improvement, improvement methodologies and tools and techniques, such as design thinking, lean and Six Sigma, would be a strong advantage
  • A professional team player who has demonstrated strategic and analytical skills 
  • Possess critical thinking skills and able to think out of the box 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work well with project teams and stakeholders, with dynamic reporting lines and multiple stakeholders 
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
