Senior Principal Analyst, Machine Learning, Office of Insights and Analytics

You will drive the development and implementation of strategic plans for data analytics projects to leverage advanced Machine Learning, Generative AI and related cloud technologies to improve healthcare outcomes, enhance operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making. You will also drive the requirements and manage the Healthcare common analytics platform, ensuring that it meets the needs of various stakeholders. You will acquire and analyse large datasets to extract actionable insights and support clinical and operational decisions. Additionally, you will be involved in the development and deployment of Machine Learning and Generative AI models to solve complex healthcare problems, as well as the implementation of the required technologies for Generative AI.

You will ensure AI applications comply with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. You will also continuously monitor and optimisI models for accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness and drive innovation by exploring and integrating emerging AI technologies into healthcare practices and work closely with healthcare professionals, IT teams and other stakeholders to prioritize and ensure AI solutions meet SingHealth needs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning or a related quantitative discipline
• Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines will be an added advantage
• At least 10 years of relevant working experience in Machine Learning, specifically in areas such as Natural Language Processing, data analysis or a related field
• Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and Generative AI techniques, and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Knowledge with cloud technology and platform such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud which are used to deploy AI and data analytics solutions
• Prior experience working with large and complex structured as well as unstructured datasets
• A strong background in designing, developing and implementing AI models and algorithms
• Ability to analyse complex datasets and identify patterns and insights to make informed business decisions
• Prior experience in graph analytics and Generative AI solutions would be advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
