Assistant Director / Senior Manager, Polyclinics Development

Senior Manager /Assistant Director will assist Director, Polyclinics Development in delivering new polyclinics’ development/existing polyclinics’ redevelopment projects on time, within budget and to the agreed quality standards, so as to support the strategic development of services and enhanced model of care at SingHealth Polyclinics.

He/she will help to manage the construction and technical aspects of new polyclinics development projects/existing polyclinics’ redevelopment, including technical support, site coordination with vendors, users, MOHH and main contractor so as to ensure that project objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Project management – responsible for facilitation of projects from planning to commissioning
• Manages project scope, schedule and budget
• Leads cross functional teams and stakeholders  
• Ensures compliance with building codes, regulations and quality standards
• Identifies potential risks associated with project, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor for issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinates with project consultants team, contractors and stakeholders on design deviations, facilitates change requests
• Facilitates inspections and room handovers to stakeholders, and manage defects rectification works
• Effectively communicates project expectations and to provide regular updates to all stakeholders in a timely and clear manner

Qualifications

1. Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
2. Minimum 7-8 years’ relevant experience in project planning/management/development and/or operations. Experience in healthcare is a bonus.
3. Proficient in MS Office application
4. Strong command of spoken and written English
5. Good co-ordination and communication skills
