Asst Director, Nursing (Education)

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (Education), you will:

• Report to Chief Nurse, SingHealth Polyclinics.
• Provide leadership and support to the Nursing Education department in the following areas:
  • Developing, reviewing and validating competency related policies and procedures.
  • Research and/ innovation projects with the intention to advance nursing knowledge and education.
  • Continuing nursing education programmes for SHP nurses to stay current within the profession.
  • Committees/ workgroups or projects.
• Assume overall supervisory and administrative responsibility of education/ training efforts/ activities.
• Develop, review, and evaluate education, training, nursing practices, resources and strategies.

Requirements:

• A recognized Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Nursing or its equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Education is a must.
• At least three years of work experience as Senior Nurse Educator.
• Valid Singapore Nursing Board licence and BCLS certification
