Clinical Associate (Doctor)
Job Description
Clinical Associates are foreign-trained doctors who are granted temporary medical registration to work in polyclinics. They perform duties equivalent to that of a medical officer level. He/She will be responsible for the management of patients in primary care setting, which includes managing acute and chronic medical conditions and providing preventive care and medical care for women and children.
You can be considered for a position in any of our 10 polyclinics across the eastern and southern part of Singapore.
Job Requirement
- Holds a basic medical degree from a medical university / school accredited in the state in which it was awarded
- Must have passed the relevant national licensing examination in the country of conferment of basic degree, where applicable
- Must possess at least 3 years' post-housemanship working experience as a Medical Officer (or equivalent) in a relevant field / specialty, or a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant field / specialty. Those with relevant clinical knowledge and skills in managing patients at the primary care level will have an added advantage
- Be registered as a Medical Practitioner in the country where he/she is currently practising
- In active clinical (patient fronting) practice for the 3 years preceding the application for Medical Registration in Singapore
- Be certified to be of good standing by the Medical Council or the relevant national authority of the country he/she is practising in with no history of medical litigation or attendance in court
- Fulfils English Language requirements of Singapore Medical Council or provides evidence of English Proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or OET) if the medium of instruction for the basic medical qualification is not in English.
- Must have completed the vaccination requirements or provide serological evidence of immunity against infectious diseases such as MMR, Tdap and COVID-19 under the National Vaccination Programme
