Executive, Innovation

You will be responsible to provide the administrative and secretariat support to the innovation programmes and initiatives in SHP. and manage engagements with relevant stakeholders.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, manage and implement innovation projects and clinical programmes, to ensure that goals and key performance indicators are met
  • Work closely with stakeholders, both internal and external, to provide support on overall project management, tracking, execution and monitoring of milestones and deliverables
  • Support fostering a culture of innovation, including project-related events such as conferences, hackathons, workshops or SingHealth cluster-wide events, etc.
  • Provide secretariat support during innovation strategy related meetings, and any other assigned meetings to drive the implementation of projects including the grant evaluation processes to ensure fairness in awarding of seed funds
  • Review/draft agreements and/or contracts wherever applicable in consultation with SingHealth Legal, Project Team Leads etc. This also includes providing support to projects in matters relating to IP, licensing and commercialization if applicable.
  • Collate and analyse data and consolidate slides and reports for submission to management and relevant government bodies. Assist to manage funding for projects through expenditure tracking and procurement
  • Coordinate with co-funders /sponsors of specific grant schemes for timely report submissions of progress reports including grant utilization
  • Any other duties assigned

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Engineering , Industrial Design or any relevant discipline
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant working experience preferably in healthcare, product design & development, and/or innovation-related field. Prior experience in clinical research projects and project management in process improvement, design thinking or innovation related projects is advantageous.
  • A team player with strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Highly motivated and target-focused
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills with strong project management skills and ability to work independently as well as manage cross-functional & institutional relationships
  • Good organizational skills to keep tasks on time and on track
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
