Executive, Research (IMCWH) – Contract

 

  1. Coordination of grant applications and management of awarded grants
  • Assist the Principal Investigators to prepare the grant proposals
  • Coordinate grant applications
  • Management of post-grant award matters e.g. budget revision, cashflow projections, claims, variation, extension, progress reports etc

 

  1. Performance of secretariat role
  • Coordinate research-related meetings
  • Prepare meeting materials
  • Record minutes 
  • Follow-up on matters arising from the meetings

 

  1. Organization and implementation of research related events/ initiatives.
  • Research talks, symposia, research training and workshops
  • Research conferences

 

  1. Collation and updating of the Research Dashboard 
  • Compile and gather inputs from research teams and clinicians 
  • Obtain publication and grant information from public sources 
  • Facilitate key performance indicators tracking
  • Draft progress reports 

 

  1. Maintaining, drafting and updating of the research publicity media
  • Internet and intranet web portal 
  • Hardcopy publicity posters

 

  1. Work with SingHealth’s Legal department to 
  • Facilitate the drafting of project agreements with external collaborators
  • Handle legal-related queries raised by our Principal Investigators

 

  1. Correspond with relevant research agencies/ personnel and other stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Science, Life Science, Pharmacy or other related disciplines
  • Proficient in office computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint) – intermediate to advanced level
  • Prior experience in visual/video designs for presentations or as EDMs or e-learning management are advantageous
  • Strong organisational and communication skills (verbal/written)

 

  • A team player who is able to prioritize, multi-task and work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse environment
  • Have experience working in the research setting will be an added advantage.
