Patient Service Associate

As a Patient Service Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the Scanned Medical Records Department in SingHealth Polyclinics. You will perform tasks related to medical records management, digitisation, and administrative support to ensure accurate and timely processing of patient information.

 

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Retrieve, prepare, and scan patients’ medical records into the electronic medical records system
  • Ensure accurate indexing, filing, and storage of scanned documents in accordance with established guidelines
  • Perform quality checks to ensure completeness and clarity of scanned records
  • Manage and track medical records, ensuring proper documentation and confidentiality are maintained at all times
  • Handle requests for medical records retrieval and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries related to medical records in a courteous and professional manner
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues in medical records for timely resolution
  • Maintain proper housekeeping of records and scanning areas to ensure data security and compliance with policies
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to support smooth workflow within the department

 

Requirements:

  • At least GCE ‘N/O’ Level qualification
  • Meticulous, organised, and detail-oriented, especially when handling confidential information
  • Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computer applications and data entry
  • Experience in healthcare or medical records management will be an advantage
  • Able to work on Saturday (half day)
