Job Description

The Pharmacist (Supplies & Logistics) provides professional and analytical support for pharmacy supply chain operations and related pharmacy-IT initiatives. The role supports safe, cost‑effective, and sustainable medication supply across SingHealth Polyclinics through procurement, inventory management, system support, and stakeholder coordination.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pharmacy supply chain and inventory operations, including demand forecasting, stock optimisation, and mitigation of supply disruptions.
  • Analyse medication utilisation and expenditure data to support procurement planning, tender evaluations, and cost‑effectiveness initiatives.
  • Identify and assess potential supply risks, inventory imbalances, and operational gaps, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Apply professional judgement to support compliance with regulatory, organisational, and professional standards.
  • Contribute to training, mentoring, and supervision of pharmacy staff and students as required.

 

Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and be a Registered Pharmacist with Singapore Pharmacy Council.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Interest or experience in pharmacy supply chain, procurement and inventory management.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based, multidisciplinary environment.
