Senior Executive, Clinical Services
Job Description:
Your role as an Senior Executive encompasses administrative and operational support for Medical Affairs within the Clinical Services department. This role manages medical-legal case documentation, organizes educational workshops, maintains reference repositories, and provides secretariat support for council. The position is critical in ensuring smooth coordination of governance activities and supporting initiatives that enhance patient safety and clinical standards.
You will assist the Manager, Medical Affairs in Clinical Services, in matters beyond Clinical Affairs. This position requires you to work closely with the following key stakeholders:
- Internal: Supporting Head of Clinical Affairs, Council Network members, Clinical Workgroups, Doctors, Legal and Compliance teams.
- External: Ministry of Health, Legal advisors (as required).
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Medical-Legal Case Management: Assist in handling medico-legal issues, including investigation, documentation and management of complaints and correspondences. Draft responses to medical enquires and complaints
- Develop and Maintain Repository – Maintain and update medico-legal cases and medical queries to support analysis
- Support medical and quality related work
- Organise Workshops
- Projects Management and Secretariat support
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Relevant working experience, exposure to healthcare administration, clinical affairs, or compliance roles; with familiarity with clinical governance frameworks, MOH regulations, and medical-legal processes would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
