Resident Physician, Department of Surgery (with interest in Vascular Surgery)

The Department of Surgery offers comprehensive surgical services including breast surgery, bariatric and metabolic surgery for obesity, colorectal surgery, upper gastro-intestinal surgery, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, vascular and surgical endoscopy.

We are looking for proactive and driven individuals to be part of our multidisciplinary team providing day-to-day patient care.  You will assist in outpatient and inpatient care, carry out procedures and surgical  operations under supervision of senior doctors.  You will also be required to perform duties, such as daily ward work, managing clinic/medical consultation,stay-in night calls/on-call in accordance to operational requirements of hospital.

Requirements

• Basic medical degree qualifications and/or Postgraduate qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)*
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-housemanship working experience in relevant field/specialty
• Must be in active clinical practice
• Prior experience in acute hospital setting
• Ability to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients
• Confident, pro-active and an effective team player
