Senior Assistant Director, Finance

Job Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the Head of Department to lead and oversee the Hospital’s financial management, accounting functions and financial planning and analysis. You will be responsible for delivering reliable, accurate and timely financial reporting, whilst providing strategic financial insights to support informed management decision-making. In addition, you will oversee end-to-end financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance and internal controls, and play a key role in ensuring sound financial stewardship and long-term sustainability for the Hospital. You will also lead continuous improvements, including the rollout of major IT Billing and Financial systems.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 12 years’ relevant experience, with at least 6 years in a managerial role within a healthcare setting
• Strong financial, analytical and critical thinking skills, with sound knowledge of statutory requirements, governance and internal controls
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly adaptable, collaborative and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment
