Manager - Global Ophthalmology Project (Part-time, 2-year contract)

You will be required to execute, implement and manage SNEC-Global ophthalmology (GO) projects in line with the SNEC-Global Ophthalmology Strategy with a focus on fund-raising.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead special projects or initiatives as they arise across SNEC-GO.
• Drive innovation and iteration within projects to create greater outcomes aligned with organisation’s strategic objectives.
• End-to-end project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. 
• Engage potential partners to seek financial and non-financial support, and source for grant calls and facilitate submission of grant applications.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and other relevant stakeholders to align on project scopes, expectations, progress timeline, and resource management.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
• Coordinates activities of the project team, identifies necessary resources and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines.
• Prepare reports for the management team regarding the status of projects.
• Manage project budgets based on requirements and track costs to deliver projects on budget.

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of experience in project management, designing and implementing programmes.
• Highly driven and resourceful individual with strong critical thinking, project management and organisation skills, able to handle multiple projects and timelines under pressure.
• Have a strong interest in social investment / philanthropy and experience in fund raising for philanthropy work would be an advantage. 
• Analytical, inquisitive, business minded and strong team player who can work with all levels of the organization.
• Possess strong coordination, interpersonal and communication skills.
