Research Fellow (Ocular Imaging Research Group) - Hardware

Job Description

The Singapore National Eye Centre/Singapore Eye Research Institute (SNEC/SERI), in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to take on a significant role in this exciting and rapidly developing research group.

He/ She will be expected to have, but not limited to:

• Strong skills in prototype optics/imaging systems, such as optical coherence tomography, adaptive optics, fluorescein imaging, scanning laser ophthalmoscope and/or hyperspectral imaging.

Job Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Solid background in optics (physics) and optical instrumentation.
• Previous experience in development of OCT and/or other ophthalmic imaging systems would be an advantage.
• Possess good programming and image processing skills (e.g. LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python).
• Able to work independently, as well as in a team-based, cross-functional research team.

Note: Package will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
