Research Officer (Ocular Imaging Research Group) - Medical Image Processing

Job Description

The Singapore National Eye Centre/Singapore Eye Research Institute (SNEC/SERI), in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to take on a significant role in this exciting and rapidly developing research group.

He/ She will be expected to have, but not limited to:

• Perform data analysis, image processing and modelling on novel ocular imaging data.
• Compile data, summarize and interpret results of the analysis in reports and journal articles.
• Conduct research within SERI in line with its research strategy and under the direction and supervision of the Principal Investigators and Collaborators.
• Actively participate in these research projects in a team-based, cross-functional research environment.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Possess good programming and image processing skills (e.g. MATLAB, Python).
• Previous experience in medical image analysis and software development.
• Able to work independently, as well as in a team-based, cross-functional research team.

Note: Package will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
