Research Officer (Tissue Engineering)
The incumbent will be on a tissue-engineering team and will be expected to be involved in research on corneal nerves, corneal neuropathy, and to perform molecular diagnostics. He / She will assist the lead investigators and clinicians in the execution of the project(s). He/ She will be expected to:
Responsibilities

Perform ELISA, PCR, image analysis and relevant lab experiments

Assist Principal Investigators in preparing research reports and in publishing research outcomes in appropriate journals of international standing.

Ensure compliance with health and safety and other requirements for the proper functioning of the laboratory.

Manage the purchase of laboratory equipment, consumables, and reagents.

Perform administrative work related to grants

Data entry and data collection are required

May involve in the manuscript writing
Requirements:

Bachelors in Biotechnology/Life Sciences or related

Expertise in aseptic cell culture techniques is critical to this job

Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

Good to have, but not essential: Experience with confocal microscopy, experience with molecular biology techniques and/or experience in flow cytometry and ELISA
